Traditional Lake Fishing

The lake fishermen work from narrow boats with a cast net and a lot of patience. They will show you how to fold the net over your arm, how to throw it so it opens into a circle, and how not to fall in.

Whatever you catch comes back to the kitchen. Tilapia, usually. It will be on your plate that night, in a banana leaf, with lemongrass.
